The Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) participated in the I CHOOSE Fair 2024. The event was organised by the the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation (MEYR).
The event was held on the 19 and the 20 July at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana and attracted around 3, 000 students who completed compulsory education. The fair provided the attendees with the perfect opportunity to explore further career and educational options.
Exhibitors from Post-Secondary Institutions and representatives of various employment sectors met with students and their parents to provide them with the latest qualifications and information on diverse sectors. Talks by industry professionals from various industrial sectors were also held during the event.
Newly appointed MCAST President of the Board of Governors Mr Horace Laudi visited the MCAST stand on Friday 19 July. During his visit Mr Laudi, met with MCAST staff, thanked them for their service, and spoke with prospective students and their parents on the College stand.
College representatives welcomed prospective students on the MCAST stand and provided them with information about the courses offered, the eligibility criteria, the application process, and life on campus. Prospective students also had the chance to speak with MCAST officials and discuss possible career paths, helping them make informed choices about their future educational journey.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to download the MCAST Prospectus via the MCAST website and discover applicable courses from over 200 full-time programmes of study. Online applications for students willing to join the College during the 2024/25 students intake are now open and will close on 14 August 2024.
