The Malta College of Arts, Science, and Technology (MCAST) together with its commercial arm MCAST Gateway to the Industry (MG2I) signed a collaborative agreement with Guangdong Business and Technology University (GBTU).
MCAST will be working on tailor-made 2-week summer school programmes for international students. GBTU aims to send a number of students to Malta during the upcoming summer months to follow the programme.
Speaking during the event signing ceremony MCAST Deputy Principal for Business Development and Communications Mr Stephen Vella said, “The objective of this agreement includes the exchange and mobility of students between campuses, and other forms of academic cooperation as mutually agreed. This partnership also aim to provide high-quality education through joint responsibility in curriculum development across various academic disciplines represented at both institutions”.
Guangdong Business and Technology University (GBTU) was represented by Deputy Principal Professor Feng Hai Zhi and Liqi Vice Dean of International Education Institution.
The summer school programmes will entail study workshops in various fields including, English language, Maltese culture, sports, business and arts.
The College aims to send a group of its own students to Guangdong University in 2025.
