During the Dubai World Expo 2020, representatives from the Malta College for Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST), and the Kuben Videregående Skole, have reached a collaboration agreement, which will see MCAST host students from Kuben in the future.
Starting from the next academic year, MCAST is set to host a group of ten students. This international student intake from Kuben will occur on a yearly basis.
The students from Kuben will be following modules related to computer electronics and engineering at MCAST. The modules have been carefully chosen together with the academic staff from Kuben to meet the students’ required learning outcomes.
During their stay, MCAST will also be organising various cultural activities for the students.
A team from Kuben Videregående Skole, also visited MCAST back in summer this year, and met all relevant academic staff and team members.
The signing of this agreement marks the start of a collaboration which the College looks forward to sustaining for years to come.
The agreement was signed by Principal and CEO Prof Joachim James Calleja and Principal Mr Kjell Ove Hauge.
