On Monday 29th November, MCAST celebrated the Day of the Mediterranean with an interesting session.
The day, which was launched last year, commemorates the foundation of the Barcelona Process and calls upon the entire Mediterranean community to celebrate the lasting legacy of this age-old agora of cultural dialogue, wisdom and humanism. The student population at MCAST includes students from 16 Mediterranean countries.
The well-attended session at the Youth Hub was very interactive with a high level of participation from the audience. Students shared information about their different countries while at the same time appreciated the diversity of the region. At the end of the event, those present enjoyed some traditional Maltese food.
