As students return on campus for the new academic year 2021-2022, Principal and CEO Professor Joachim James Calleja sent a welcome message to the College community thanking all for choosing MCAST as their place to work and learn.
In his message to students, he said, “Our priority is to ensure that you have a successful learning experience in an enjoyable and safe environment. Starting a new course or returning to College after a long time can be overwhelming. I want to assure you that our community is set to welcome and support you throughout your journey.” Professor Calleja added that the year’s theme “Designed to shape the future” is a reminder that students have much to look forward to and that various services are available for students to look forward to.
Addressing staff, he staff “Twenty years since the College first opened its doors, we now look forward to our students being back at our vibrant campus – working together to create a dynamic learning environment and unique learning experiences. We have seen how technology can help us offer flexible and innovative learning solutions. However, it is now essential to harness the power of real-life experiences, whether in lecture rooms, workshops, the workplace or at informal meetings. The return to campus for those who have been away brings challenges, and I encourage you to seek support as we continue to prioritise the health and safety of our community.”
Professor Calleja invited staff and students to join him in greeting the new academic year with gratitude towards our community and enthusiasm for the coming year.
