Following the publication of SEC and Matriculation results on 6 November, MCAST issued a final call for applications. The call will be open to prospective applicants between Monday 9 November and Friday 13 November. This is the first time that the College is issuing a late call in November as it responds to the needs brought about by the pandemic situation.
The College has also issued guidance to already registered students who may need to transfer to a different level or course depending on the results obtained. Students are to present their result slips to their institutes, indicating the course code and title they wish to transfer to. Transfers will be accepted until 13 November. Also, students who were conditionally accepted to courses at levels 4, 5 and 6 are to present their results between 23 and 27 November.
MCAST Registrar Maria Pace said: “We are well aware that students sitting for their SEC and MATSEC results experienced exceptional circumstances this year. As we have already done throughout our summer intake, we will continue to provide support to all students so that they can successfully continue their learning. Receiving results can be an exciting time, but it can also bring disappointments. We want to encourage all students to take the next step and to choose the right programme to reach their full potential.”
