‘A very busy day at the Centre for Agriculture, Aquatics & Animal Sciences- a group of students did a health assessment on lambs at the Ghammieri Government Farm under the tutorship of Robert Debono and another group of students prepared seed potatoes for sowing under the tutorship of John Galea. The varieties of these potato seeds will be tested by the Centre for their potential for export to European markets. These seeds were kindly sponsored by Manuel Bezzina Co. Ltd.
The College has also made a significant investment in new agriculture machinery for use in horticulture classes.’
